In 1990 the second curriculum was transformed into ERICA (Education for Relationship in International Communication and Business).

In 1995 the first one was changed into IGEA (Law and Economics for Firms).

In 2000 Pascal became also CTP (Adult Continuos Education Centre).

In 2003 Pascal got the EN ISO 9001 Quality Certificate and the statement as vocational centre for the Piemonte Region.

In 2005 Pascal got the autorization to open a Scientific Liceum course.

At present IIS Pascal has 83 employees: 1 headmaster, 61 teachers, 1 administrative director, 2 tecnical assistants, 6 administrative assistants and 12 housekeepers.

As pupils, we have now 714 students in the curricula of IGEA (111) and ERICA (316), Liceo (287); as adults we have 50 students attending a course for diploma, 40 students attending courses for the lower secondary licence, about 100 foreigners attending literacy courses and, in a year, about 50 people attending 30-hour courses on foreign languages, ICT and others.

We have different target groups according to the different courses:

for IGEA and ERICA and LICEO we try to reach 14-year old pupils coming from the lower secondary schools. We offer  to them a preparation in commercial, administrative, business fields or cultural ones to put them in condition both to continue studies at University or at Further education and to go directly to work.

for literacy courses of first level we accept any foreigner;

for literacy course of second level we look for Italian speaking foreigners, who need to improve their      communication skills in Italian;

for 30-hour courses we teach all kind of people: mostly they are employed people who want to get better      positions in the firm. We, till now, have offered courses of English, French, Spanish, ICT, Human care,      Painting, Relaxing and meditation.

for lower secondary licence courses we look for:

     - pupils over 15 years old, who had previously failed in the normal school;

     - adults that in the past had not concluded their compulsory education;

     - foreigners after literacy courses;

for diploma courses we look for adults with lower secondary licence wanting to get in 3 years an upper      secondary licence and qualification.

President of the Scolastic District n. 52

The Scolastic Districts was created in 1974 with the aim to program democrately the school developements in a specific area. The District n. 52 is made of 6 municipalities with about 50,000 inhabitants and 6 state schools. The importance of such an organ decreased in the years and now it is near to be finished.

The CSCI Consortium is a Territorial Professional Training Agency, accredited with the Piemonte Region and UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 Certified, which began life through the encounter between the world of work and that of School and the Public Administration with the goal of promoting development of human and professional resources by creating and managing training and refresher activities for workers and young people seeking a first job, in both the public and private fields, and so favour growth and spread throughout the territory of a professional and managerial Culture of a European cast and train new professional profiles required by the world of work through training itineraries at the cutting edge and of high quality.

To the consortium 11 state colleges, 3 municipalities, 8 firms, 6 associations and 1 university (26 from Italy, 1 from Spain, 1 from Hungary and 1 from Rumania) have signed up.

The Consortium operates both at a regional and a European level. In the first place it has been engaged in promoting design, administration and accomplishment of: Professional training Courses, Superior Technical Training Course of Instruction, Professional career guidance activities, Internships and Training Placements, Trainer training, Permanent training for adults.

In the European field on the other hand the consortium has stood out for its

- studies and research into the application of new technologies and didactic methods (distance training and e-learning etc.)

- preparation of innovative and traditional didactic materials

- design and administration of Community Projects/Programmes (Socrates and Leonardo da Vinci).

Responsible of the administration of the Piemonte regional EUROPA DELL'ISTRUZIONE net for the European projects.
We have a large experience in Leonardo placements of students, aged 17-18, and in class exchanges.
