There is a meaningful use of the L2: children read and listen to understand the messages, speak and write to communicate ideas, feelings, experiences. 	Fun Place is aimed to increase motivation by implementing a playful approach. Children like playing, to engaging their skills in meaningful activities, training linguistic abilities while enjoying themselves.
Storyline provides a story-based environment to the topics. Children enjoy storytelling and find easier browsing web pages organised in sequences.
	The Zone comes from the Vygotskijan "Zone of Potential Development". This section contains a bit more difficult online activities, aimed to place the online experience in that "ZPD".
Topic-based activities are a source of fun, offer wide range of exploration of the factual and the imaginative, involve the use of several different resources and, last but not least, give the teacher an easier way to motivate and challenge the children.
